THE STORY:

In 7th period Spanish, there were Quizlet live games being played near the end of the class. President Poss was having a tough time doing better than Abigail. When he finally did, he exclaimed, ‘You suck’ to her. Mrs. Petschke professed her distaste for the use of that phrase. In response, Poss attempted to rephrase his exclamation by saying,‘You stink’. However this angered Mrs Petschke more and she again, expressed her distaste. So he then tried to tone it down one more time by merely stating, “I'm better than you”.  However, this still was not good enough for Mrs. Petschke as she then sent him out of the classroom stating, ‘Why don’t you go take a walk?’. Then, as he was leaving, she said, ‘And don’t come back’.

After roaming the halls for 5 to 10 minutes, he decided since it was nearing the end of the period, he would return to retrieve his belongings and carry on to the next period. When he returned, he found that his belongings, including his Chromebook and backpack, we're not where he had left them, by his desk. However, after looking around the classroom, he noticed that his stuff was at the teacher's desk (He later found out that his personal belongings had been disrespected, being thrown to the ground). Poss walked up to get his things and was told to stay after class with Mrs. Petschke.

After all of his classmates left the room she began to interrogate him as to why he made the actions that he did. Eventually, during his response he was interrupted by a teacher entering the room. He was then asked to leave and once again roam the halls until Mrs. Petschke was ready to speak to him.

About 15 minutes later the teacher finally left the classroom and Poss entered and took his seat. Miss Petschke greeted him by letting him know she had realized that he was meant to be in English class during the time she was with him. It took nearly 25 minutes to dawn on her that he was meant to be in another class.

She wrote him a late note for his English teacher, letting him know that she planned on sending an email to his class advisor, his school counselor, and his mother.
